FRAME SIZE:

Ensure the gate frame is strong enough for the width of the gate.

GROUND CLEARANCE:

Check that the gate doesn't come in contact with the ground when opened. It may be necessary to swing it the other way or from the other side.

FIXINGS:

Match the hinges and latches to suit the application - automatic gates may need heavy hinges, pool gates need to self close, etc.
